  • Road Innovation Award goes to Transit and MWH
    Minister of Transport the Hon Annette King presents the 2007 New Zealand Road Innovation Award to Transit and MWH representatives for their joint paper Sensitive receiving environments at risk from state highway run-off.More

  • Transit again wins international environment award
    In 2005 Transit won the International Road Federation (IRF) Global Road Achievement Award for Environmental Mitigation for the Grafton Gully project. This was the third time since 2000 that Transit won this major international award.More

  • Transit staff win essay competition
    Janice Wilson, James Kilbride and Marcus Lin, whose essay Challenges to the Provision of Sustainable Road Infrastructure - a New Zealand Example won the Australian and New Zealand National Section of the 2007 World Road Association (PIARC) Essay Competition, will be travelling to Paris next year where their entry will be judged on the world stage.

  • Graduate programme wins award for Dunedin's Highway Highlanders
    Transit and two of its contract partners in Dunedin have won New Zealand's Graduate Infratrain NZ Industry Best Practice award at the Roading Excellence Awards 2006 for their Rotational Graduate Secondment programme. More
