Downloading, Viewing or Printing PDF files

Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view and print PDF files. Get Acrobat Reader

If you see a blank screen when you try to view a PDF file then you are probably experiencing an Internet connection/memory problem. Acrobat Reader does not use an hourglass to tell you that a document is loading - instead you will only see a blank screen.

Some PDF files on this site are large and you are likely to occasionally be presented with a blank screen. Have patience and wait until you see the word "Done" at the bottom-left corner of your screen. If the screen is still blank, or if you are having problems viewing and/or printing a PDF file displayed in your browser window, please try downloading and saving the file using the procedure described below, and then open it with Acrobat Reader.

To download a PDF file and then open it from a saved location:

  1. In Internet Explorer, right-click the link to the PDF file, and then choose 'Save Target As' from the pop-up menu.
In Netscape Navigator, right-click the link to the PDF file and choose 'Save Link As' from the pop-up menu.
  2. Specify a name (with a .PDF extension) and location for the file, and then click 'Save'.
  3. Open Acrobat Reader, choose 'File / Open', and open the file saved in Step 2 above. The file should now be able to be successfully viewed and printed.
